Who Owns Berghaus?

Originally founded by Gordon Davison and Peter Lockey in 1966, their shared passion for climbing mountains together led to the simple business idea to get more people outdoors.

Crafting innovative outdoor gear for every kind of adventure for over 25 years, Berghaus then joined the Pentland group in 1993. They’ve continued that journey ever since then, racking up more than 50 years’ experience in the industry from the HQ in the North-East of England.
