Originally released in the early 2000’s, New Balance reintroduced the 509 in April 2025 with a JD-exclusive drop. This silhouette brings big vintage runner vibes. They’re inspired by New Balance’s track heritage, with the tech to back it up.

They’re cushioned with New Balance’s ABZORB foam through the midsole, feeling spongy and bouncy underfoot. They’re crafted with airy open-knit mesh up top, offset with synthetic layers and metallic details for dynamic, movement-inspired energy.

The New Balance 509’s got a classic lace fastening, with plush padding round the collar and tongue for a snug fit. And, as always, they’re signed off with that legendary ‘N’ stamped to the lateral sidewalls.
