What is JD STATUS?
- JD STATUS is the brand-new JD loyalty scheme that rewards our customers for shopping with us. It's a smart phone app that is ready to use in all UK stores and online. It gives you an exciting opportunity to start building up JD Cash which can save you money on future JD purchases.

Who can use the JD STATUS app?
- The JD STATUS App can be used in all our JD UK stores including the Channel Islands. You can also earn JD Cash every time you shop online to spend in-store.

Will I get a physical JD STATUS card?
- There is no physical JD STATUS card. When you sign up to the app, you’ll have a personal QR code in the Code tab that you can save to your phone wallet. When you check out in store, scan this QR code at the till to earn JD Cash.

- Yes, we take privacy seriously and we’re committed to not misusing your personal data. Check out our privacy policy here.

I still need help, how can I contact someone?
- You can contact us via our dedicated JD STATUS Loyalty Helpline on 0113 320 6479. If it’s about a transaction, be sure to have your loyalty ID to hand. How do I sign up?
- Start earning JD Cash immediately by following the simple steps below to create an account and receive your personal QR code. 1) Download the app through your app store, or by scanning a QR code in store 2) Enter your phone number 3) Receive a one time passcode to verify account 4) Enter a few personal details to register 5) Add your personal JD STATUS QR code to your phone wallet.

How do I get the app?
- The app is available on both Apple and Android. Simply head to the app store and search for 'JD STATUS', then download. If you are in store you can also download the app by scanning the QR codes around the store.

How soon can I start using my account?
- Your account will be ready to go immediately after signing up! So you can start building up your JD Cash wallet straight away.

How do I set up a One Time Password (OTP)?
- When signing up or logging in you will be asked to enter your UK mobile number. After pressing 'continue' you will receive a text message with your OTP. Enter the code and press 'Verify code' or 'Log back in' to continue.

I haven't received my OTP
- Please check the mobile number you entered is correct and you have a strong signal on your device. If the phone number you entered is incorrect, go back, re-enter it and try again. If you still haven’t received a code, click 'Re-send code'.

My OTP doesn’t work
- The OTP only works for a few minutes, so if it's not accepted, just request a new one on the app and enter it straightaway. Remember to always use the most recent code we’ve sent you. If you’ve tried too many times to retrieve or enter the code, we’ll block your account just to keep it safe. Don’t worry, just contact our Customer Care team on 0113 320 6479 and we will do our best to get you logged back in!

I no longer have access to my security code phone number, how do I verify my account?
- The JD STATUS Loyalty Account is linked to the phone number used to activate it. JD STATUS Loyalty Accounts are non-transferable so without access to the original phone number the account will be inaccessible.

I already have a JD account, can I add a JD STATUS account?
- JD STATUS is a brand new app so you will need to make a new account even if you have an existing account with JD.

My account is blocked, what can I do?
- Your account may be blocked due to unusual activity. If you can't access your account, reach out to our Customer Care team on 0113 320 6479 and we will do our best to help you.

Can I change the phone number linked to my account?
- The JD STATUS Loyalty Account is linked to the phone number used to activate it. JD STATUS Loyalty Accounts are non-transferable so without access to the original phone number the account will be inaccessible.

I can't sign in
- If you are having trouble signing in: - Check you have a good internet connection - Try closing and reopening the app. If it is still not working, contact our Customer care team on 0113 320 6479 and we will do our best to help.

My app keeps crashing
- If your JD STATUS app is crashing or becoming unresponsive, shut it down completely and re-open it. If the issue continues, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app, which will give you the most up-to-date version. If problems persist, contact our Customer Care team on 0113 320 6479 and we will do our best to help.

How do I manage the details on my account?
- The easiest way to manage your account details is to navigate to the the 'More' tab on the JD STATUS app, then go to Profile. Here you can edit your personal information.

How can I close my account
- If you decide to leave the JD STATUS loyalty scheme you can delete your account from the app. Go to the more tab on the app and then to delete account. Please note if you delete your account you will lose all existing JD Cash in your wallet.

Can I share an account with someone else?
- Each account is verified with a phone number so it is personal to just you. Be careful not to share your QR code with others, as this will enable them to use your hard earned JD Cash.

Can I manage my account online?
- Your account is based in the JD STATUS app so head there to access your QR code, view your transaction history and manage any personal details.

What is JD Cash?
- JD Cash is our loyalty scheme currency. Everytime you shop with us you build up JD STATUS cash in your JD STATUS wallet which you can use towards future purchases with JD. Keep an eye out for special promotions and tailored offerings that will come your way!

How do I earn JD Cash?
- Earning JD Cash is easy. Simply scan your JD STATUS QR code in-store at the till and you will automatically earn JD Cash. If you don't have your QR code with you, just scan the QR code on the JD Cash receipt within 28 days to retrospectively earn your reward. Please be aware that you can’t earn JD Cash when purchasing Gift Cards, in-store Kiosk orders, bags or making a charity donation via the card machine. To earn JD Cash online, please make sure the phone number you use when placing an order matches the one attached to your JD STATUS account.

My QR code isn't scanning
- If your QR code won't scan, try one of the following - Check your screen isn't cracked or dirty - Adjust the brightness of your screen. If it is still not scanning, please ask one of our cashiers to help, or use the JD STATUS receipt QR code to earn retrospectively after your purchase.

What if I forget to scan my QR code at the till?
- If you forget to scan your QR code at the till, don't worry you won't miss out! You can still earn the JD Cash from your purchase using our retrospective earn feature. You will receive a dedicated JD STATUS receipt at the till with a QR code. Simply head to the JD STATUS app (or download it if you haven't made an account), go to the home tab and click 'Enter code from receipt'. Then scan the QR code on the receipt using the app and your JD Cash will be added to your wallet.

What if I don't have wifi or mobile data in store?
- You won't be able to load your QR code in the app offline, but don't worry! If your QR code is saved to your phone wallet you will still be able to scan it, and if not you can redeem your JD Cash retrospectively within 28 days through the QR code on the loyalty receipt. Your wallet balance will update when you are next online.

How much JD Cash do I earn for each purchase?
- You can earn JD Cash on items you purchase in-store & online at JD. The specific amount earned on each item will depend on specific promotions and boosters. You can see the breakdown of how much JD Cash you have earned by going to the wallet tab in the JD STATUS app. Exclusions apply* This includes the purchase of gift cards, charity donations and plastic bags.

Can I earn and use JD Cash on the same purchase?
- Yes you can! Once all discounts including any JD Cash you want to use have been applied at the till, you will earn JD Cash on the final prices you pay for each product. JD Cash can only be used in-store and is not available to spend online.

Is there a maximum amount I can earn?
- There is no maximum amount of JD Cash you can earn on any given purchase. The amount of JD Cash you earn on a product may differ depending on specific promotions and boosts, but you will be rewarded for every item. We do however, limit how many times (3 transaction per day) JD STATUS can be used in a 24-hour period. If a 4th attempt is made, you’ll be presented with an error message informing you this limit has been reached.

Can I earn JD Cash on online purchases?
- To earn JD Cash against online purchases, you must make sure the phone number you use when placing an order on the JD sports website or mobile application matches the one attached to your JD STATUS account. JD Cash will automatically accrue once, and order has been dispatched in full. When an individual signs-up for a new JD STATUS account, we will look up online orders placed against the phone number they use to access their JD STATUS account over the previous 28 days. Should any qualifying orders be identified, we will automatically credit any JD Cash which would have been earned against those purchases to their Wallet. This retrospective look back will only apply to orders placed on or after 09:00 GMT on 11th December 2023.

Can I earn JD Cash outside the UK?
- Yes. JD Cash can be earned against orders placed online on the JD Sports website and mobile application, as well as in-store in all participating countries (UK and France). However, to use your JD Cash balance against a purchase, this can only be done in-store within the country of residence you selected when signing up for your JD STATUS account. You cannot use this against online purchases at this time.

Can I earn JD Cash alongside other deals eg. sale items, student discount
- Yes you can! Once all discounts have been applied at the till, you will earn JD Cash on the final prices you pay for each product.

What happens to my JD Cash if I return or exchange an item?
- If you need to return an item, bring it back to one of our stores and our cashiers will be able to assist you at the till. If you earnt JD Cash on an item you are returning, this will be removed from your JD STATUS wallet. If you used JD Cash to buy the item you are returning, this will be added back to your JD STATUS wallet. If you exchange an item you earnt or used JD Cash on, your balance will be updated reflecting any price difference between the two items. Where can I find my balance?
- You can view your balance in the home tab on the JD STATUS app. For a more detailed view, go to the wallet tab where you can view active and pending balance as well as see the breakdown of how you earned your balance from your transaction history.

- There is no maximum JD STATUS Wallet balance value. However, JD Cash will expire 180 days after earning and be removed from your wallet after this time.

Can I view my balance history?
- Your balance history is located in the wallet tab on the app. Here you will be able to see both the active and pending JD Cash you have earned as well as a breakdown of how you earnt it from your transaction history.

My earnings aren't showing up in my wallet
- It may take up to 24 hours for your JD Cash earnings to show up in your wallet. Make sure you have internet access when checking as this is needed for the system to update. In the wallet tab, you will be able to see a breakdown of your earning history. If any earnings are still not showing after this time, contact our Customer Care team on 0113 320 6479 and we will do our best to help.

There is a transaction in my wallet that I don't recognise
- If there is a transaction in your account that wasn't you, then somebody may be using your personal QR code. Consider if you have shared the QR code with any friends or family, and if you are concerned then contact our Customer Care team on 0113 320 6479 who will help you resolve the problem.

Why is some of my balance pending?
- After you earn JD Cash it will be pending for 7 days until you can use it. You can see how much of your balance is active and pending by going to the wallet tab in the app.

How do I use my JD Cash?
- Using your JD Cash is simple. When you reach the till simply scan your QR code and the cashier will ask if you want to deduct your JD Cash from your order total, saving you money! You can only use JD Cash in-store, you cannot use this against online purchases at this time.

What can I use my JD Cash for?
- You can use JD Cash to pay towards the purchase of any product in store at JD. This includes the purchase of sale items, gift cards and other products as part of a promotion.

Does my JD Cash expire?
- You will have 180 days, from the point of earning, to spend your JD Cash. Unused JD Cash will expire after 180 days and be removed from your account.

Can I use JD Cash alongside other deals eg. sale items, student discount?
- Yes you can! Once all discounts have been applied at the till, you can use your JD Cash balance to further reduce the cost of your basket.

Can I use my JD Cash to buy a gift card?
- Yes you can! JD Cash can be used towards the purchase of any product in store at JD.

Can I use JD Cash online and in store?
- JD Cash can only be used in-store at the moment, but it's not all bad news! You can still earn JD Cash on online purchases to then use to save in-store.

Can I pay for my item using cash/card and JD Cash?
- Yes, the remainder of your balance balance after using JD Cash can be paid for via all available payment methods.

Do I need to use all my JD Cash at once?
- You cannot use only part of your balance when using it towards a purchase, you must use the full balance. However, if the value of your basket is less than your points balance, then you will only need to use the balance necessary to cover the purchase.

Can I use my JD Cash anywhere apart from JD?
- Right now you can only use JD Cash in our UK JD stores, but you can use it on all products, including sale items. JD Cash cannot be used against online purchases just yet, but you can earn JD Cash when you shop online to spend in-store.

Is there a limit on how much JD Cash I can spend?
- You can spend up to £200 JD Cash in a single transaction. Any transactions above this value will require you to pay for the outstanding balance.

How do I reedem JD Cash using my receipt?
- If you can't scan your QR code at the till, don't worry, you won't miss out! Follow these 3 simple steps to reedeem your points using your receipt. 1) Download the app and create an account (if you haven't done so already). 2) From the home tab click 'Enter code from receipt'. 3) Scan the QR code on the JD STATUS receipt to redeem your JD Cash.
