How To Clean ASICS Shoes?

ASICS suggest avoiding putting your shoes in the washing machine. Instead, you’ll need the following to keep your footwear looking fresh: a mild detergent or clothing-safe soap, a scrubbing brush or toothbrush, a sponge, paper towels and a bucket of warm water.

Firstly, remove the shoelaces and insoles. Then, fill a bucket with warm water and add 15-30ml water and use a dry paper towel to remove any dirt.

Dip your soft brush or toothbrush into the warm water and clean the outsoles. Now it’s time to clean the uppers. How you do this will depend on the material it’s made from. If it’s fabric, mesh or canvas, a wet, soapy sponge is best. If the upper’s made with suede, nubuck or leather, then apply cleaning products that are specifically made for these materials.

Clean your insoles with soapy water, scrub the surface with your chosen brush, then clean off any dirt that’s left with a wet sponge. Place your laces under running water to clean them.

Now all the parts of your shoes are cleaned, let them air dry. To help absorb odours, you can sprinkle baking soda inside of them.
